THE RISE OF THE ANTI-CHRIST
WATCHMAN ON THE WALL
1 Cor 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

(1 Cor 1:27 KJV)  But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

In Europe before the 19th century, families were mostly farmers.  They worked hard, and kept to themselves.  The bigger the family the more work could be done.

For the first time in world history in the 1800s the world began to advance in technology in a dramatic way, due to the Industrial Revolution.  After the bugs were worked out of industry, people began to talk more about time off and enjoy recreational activities and many of the mainline sports were invented.

People were promised a better way of life if they left the farms and move to the cities.

The gaslight was invented so people could stay up longer.  Then came the outdoor gaslight so people could stay up longer walking the streets after dark.

The industrial revolution put more people to work so even to lower class people could afford some of the same things that the middle class and the upper class was enjoying.

Then the steam car and the steam train, and the railroads were built across the US and the European continent.  Communication and travel was becoming so radically advanced that the world was coming together again as it was under Nimrod at the Tower of Bable in Genesis 11.

Then the steamship and the airplane was invented and people found for the first time in world history they could sail the oceans with relative safety.

Public education was started so anyone who wanted an education could have one and the lower class had the potential to receive as good an education as the upper class. Then the human potential movement was well received and started to grow in popularity.  The human potential movement is Humanism: belief in the high potential of human nature without God.  Humanism was influencing many people in the public schools.  People were taught you could find the intellect and power inside you to shape your world and future.

Because of the vast influx of technology without God, people were committing intellectual suicide.  People were beginning to think we have come along way, look at all our potential without God, so the age of enlightenment settled in.  Greed and selfishness was coming out of the closet.  People were running to and fro, because knowledge was increased for the first time in world history at least since Noah's flood.  Big battle ships were invented to overthrow other countries because of mans greed.  Technology without God not only brought the world closer together but made war easier, and more readily available.  When people were saying peace peace then the world got into its first world war, which was called the "war to end all wars."  Where nation rose against nation.  Then the world started the League of Nations to bring us world peace.  The "war to end all wars" brought us the Second World War.  Then came the United Nations to replace the League of Nations hoping to bring us world peace.

In the Old Testament man wanted Caesar.  God knew Caesar would always lead man into war.  During the Second World War the U.S. government told mom and dad to go work for the war effort.  When the war was over,  mom and dad found out if both work then we can own two cars a bigger house and have more money left over to go on more vacations and enjoy more recreational activities.  That generation of parents raised the childeren that protested the Vietnam war burned the American flag, hugged tress and O.D. on illegal drugs.  They were called the Hippies.  Those hippies grew up and were untaught and scripturally illiterate who raised the street gangs that have taken over portions of large cities, and raised an undisciplined and disrespectful road rage generation who blame all their problems on society and chemical imbalances.  This has led us into a very impatient and materialistic generation that is very susceptible and enticed into the occult, because the occult promises instant revenge, instant satisfaction of what ever you want.  This is the danger of an impatient society.  In contrast the Bible teaches patience and long suffering.

(2 Tim 3:1-7 KJV)  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent,

(Mat 24:12 KJV)  And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.fierce, despisers of those that are good,Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Before Lenin and Hitler rose to power, Russia and Germany were in a lot of turmoil.  Russia was being defeated by Germany and civil war in Russia was making urban workers and soldiers desperate enough to accept socialism and or any ideas for immediate relief.  So Lenin was able to rise to power.  He made promises to resolve the civil conflict and to give more land to the peasants.  When Lenien came to power he seized grain from peasants, introduced rationing nationalized banks and industry, this caused an economic breakdown and it gave the Red Army power.  Starvation swept through the land and Lenien ran a reign of terror murdering anyone opposing him.

The story behind Hitler was much the same.  Germany was in economic upheaval.  Hitler promised to fix the economic problems of the country.  The lower and middle class people were desperate enough to accept any answer for even temporary relief, so they voted him in and Hitler became dictator and he to ran a reign of terror against anyone who got into his way.

Revelation 6:1-17  And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.

2  And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

3  And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.

4  And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

5  And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.

6  And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

7  And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.

8  And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

9  And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

10  And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

11  And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

12  And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

13  And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

14  And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

15  And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

16  And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:17  For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

These verses explain the rise of the Anti-Christ; promising to fix the problems of the world.  He begins to work miracles. The people are so desperate for even temporary relief so they accept him as the true Christ.

(1 Th 5:3 KJV)  For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

People will be saying peace peace and then sudden destruction cometh upon them and they shall not escape.  For when the anti-Christ has the massas captivated then he to will run a reign of terror that no man can comprehend.

Peace, war, famine, pestilence, and death, that's the way it was under Lenin's and Hitler's regime and so it will be under the Anti-Christ's regime.
