I want to relate a true story about an experience we had in our church with a pastor a, "Bible Baptist" who associated with pastors who were involved with the "Bible Baptist Fellowship". Our church found out the hard way that many of these pastors in the BBF (Some of the men are good that truly love God and people. Some none BBF Independent Baptist pastors are dictators to) are not leaders but dictators and dishonest. Before this man became our pastor he explained to us that he believed what our church believed and then when he became our pastor he changed his colors, reneged on his promises.
He misrepresented the church by writing up a brochure to hand out to the community he made it sound like we have a church bus to pick up kids the following Sunday which was an out right lie.
On a Wednesday night prayer meeting (I have this documented) he stood before the church and said "What ever I tell you to do you just do it. You don't question me. If you don't do what I tell you to do you are not humble". That is exactly what every cult leader and false prophet has been saying since the fall of man.
This man tried to manipulate through his tears and money. He would preach one thing and do totally the opposite.
He was what I call a "Purpose Driven Pastor because through his actions he did not care if he were to run off all the old members that have served in the church faithfully for all those years just so he could have his way. Actions speak louder then words.
He never would lead he just tried to force people to do his will. He tried to embarrass people from the pulpit if they where not doing exactly what he wanted them to do. Even though people would try to talk with him and explained that they were not comfortable with doing certain things he would still try to force people against their will.
Through his actions he did not believe on waiting on the Holy Spirit. He tried to completely restructure the church.
I have since talked with other Baptist preachers who know about some of these Pastors who are in the BBF and they relate some similar stories that many of them are not leaders but pushers and cult leaders.
I have personally gone to some of their conferences and have noticed for my self that many of them really like to put on a show and like to impress each other.
He did not care that he was running people off he was going to have the preeminence.
3Jo 1:9 I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.

He did the work of the Devil
This is only the tip of the ice burg I could tell you so much more about what happened.
This is the truth I have know liberal pastors who had allot more love then this phony did.
