My husband claims to be a Christian and so am I. I am a travel exec and spend a lot of time on the road. We are only married one yr and he knew of my job demands before we married. We are both 47. When I came home this time I found 2 sex tapes on my DVD player.."1 nite in Paris' and a sampler with barely legal girls on it. I feel like he has been unfaithful to me. He thinks it is ok for him to do that and to 'get off' with them. Who is right?? Isn't there scripture in regards to this?? I am so hurt and angry.

Churches and Mosh Pits: Christian Hard Rock¿s Positive Impact on Today¿s Youth By Richard Lutz The Beatles, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Queen: During their era these bands were viewed by many Christian groups as being controversial because of the sound, persona, and or lifestyle of the band members and their fans. These Christian groups believed these styles of music to be inappropriate and immoral because they felt the bands glorified a lifestyle they viewed as sinful nature. As rock music has evolved more Christian bands have appeared on the market with positive lyrics. These songs reflect the message of Jesus Christ, including hard rock styles that many Church-goers would probably not think of as being Christian. At the same time, it is very evident that Churches are not promoting hard styles of music even though it may have an uplifting message of salvation. Leaders in the Church apparently do not realize that these harder styles of music are having a huge impact on today¿s youth. I believe that the church is missing an opportunity to use Christian hard rock to in bringing more kids to Christ. Many members of the church seem to disagree with my ideas on Christian rock, especially harder styles. These include punk, emo, screamo, metal, metalcore, hardcore and a variety of others. These people believe that Christian rock but all rock n¿ roll altogether is filled with content that doesn¿t honor God. According to Mark Finkbeiner of David and Goliath Ministries, ¿Rock `n¿ Roll represents our sensual and rebellious nature against God no matter what flavor it comes in whether it be soft rock, hard rock, ¿Christian¿ rock, punk rock, or death metal.¿ He also mentioned that ¿the beat in rock music is what causes the carnal, sensual feelings; it is not necessarily words.¿ Finkbeiner believes that no style of rock music is good for today¿s youth because it is ¿rooted in voodoo worship (Finkbeiner).¿ Other Christian leaders feel that Christian role can have a negative impact on young people. During an interview, Steve Haney, youth pastor at Christ Center, discussed his thoughts and opinions on music. ¿Despite its uplifting and encouraging message, Christian rock can have a negative impact on today¿s youth,¿ said Haney. He continued by mentioning that the music, in general, ¿can be damaging, addictive and all consuming¿. He also believes that this is true with any particular style of music; the same effect could happen to someone listening to classical music. The other negative influence of harder music is the potential trigger euphoric memories. The Cashmere youth pastor stated that the louder style of Christian hard music could bring a swell of bad memories that an individual was trying to forget (Haney). As a young person I understand this point of view, and agree that hard Christian music is not for everyone. In some instances Contemporary Christian may be better for certain people. However, most of young people cannot relate to this type of music. Former singer of Further Seems Forever, Jason Gleason, stated in Alternative Press that ¿[Overall] the Christian scene is messed up (Swanner).¿ After reading an article that appeared in the Los Angeles Times I understand what he was talking about. The Times mentioned that the majority of listeners of Christian radio are married women between the ages 35 and 44 (Weingarten). Youth pastor John Brossoit of the Wenatchee Valley Praise center found this figure shocking. He said, ¿It is an alarming indication of the spiritual state of our generation (Brossoit).¿ Joy McDonald of the Asbury United Methodist Church in Tacoma wasn¿t surprised by the figure. McDonald said ¿Kids today are not interested in Christian music (McDonald).¿ What are kids listening to? They are listening to bands that have appeared on tours like the Van¿s Warped Tour and Taste of Chaos Tour. T

I used to be member of a church where the pastor taught all of the students in the bible institute the gap theory by clarence larkin. But I did my research and came across a site like this and I knew it was right. I tried to show the pastor but he wouldn't listen. Anyway the lord led us out of that church into another church that is gun barrel staight. Me and my wife will be going to the mission field very soon. Pray for us. Your site is great!

I stumbled onto to this while doing research for a paper on Archaeopteryx. I was laughing my brains out at all the jokes and such that littered this page. At first i thought this was some sort of prank site or one created for kicks. But when i realized that this was for real i felt a different emotion, pity. Now I'm not religious (because all religions end up contradicting themselves i believe) and if someone wants to have faith in something thats fine but its nearly impossible to prove anything in the bible as beyond arguement. This is what i believe and if anyone wants to flame me go a head, it only shows how narrow minded u are. As for the site itself, if you ever want to make yourself seem credible and believable for that matter make sure your site looks good and doesn't contain broken links.
