When the family's go bad the leaders go bad when the leaders go bad the Christian churches go bad. When the Christian churches go bad the nation goes bad.
(Prov 12:12 KJV) The wicked desireth the net of evil men: but the root of the righteous yieldeth fruit.
(Prov 29:2 KJV) When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.
Who can you trust when those who are in authority are more wicked then those who are servants.
You have to be a servant before you can become a leader.
1) We build bigger houses but have smaller family's.
2) We build bigger, safer and faster freeways and engage in more roadrage.
3) We have more knowledge and less wisdom
4) We have bigger churches but smaller spiritual appetites.
5) We have more church programs to get greater numbers but less indepth preaching.
6) We preach more about character but keep less promises
7) Churches have deep pockets but shallow messages on Christian living and the gospel.
8) Church leaders have more education but less wisdom.
9) Church leaders speak of big hopes of reaching the lost but leave off there own members.
10) We brag of bigger church numbers but those who have needs get lost in the crowd
11) Many ministers become church administrators and forget they are pastors.
12) More pastors become administrators and forget about members personal needs.
Note of qualification: There are still many good independent Baptist Pastors and churches that are genuine. The webmaster of this site does not recognize protestant churches as true churches. They came out of the Catholic church and most still hold to some Catholic church doctrine. Baptist churches that still hold to the old uncompromising biblical teachings of the local church New testament doctrines are true churches. The Catholic (universal) church never was a Christian church. Any church that came out of the Catholic church came out of a Harlot church. Those churches are illegitimate.
13) We have more ways to save time but less time for those who need it.
Remember When
When a white weeding dress meant something.
When the victim was the good guy and the criminal was the bad guy.
When telling the truth was right and showed character. And doing wrong was a sin.
When telling a lie was wrong.
When real Christian music was not controversial.
When the government was the servant and "We The People" were the masters.
When a home meant one dad and one mom.
When in Teenage Sunday school more teenagers had one mom and one dad at home
When children behaved.
When the police looked out for the citizen and not themselves.
When truth reigned.
When we all the English speaking people had one Bible. (KJV)
When preaching was more important then entertainment.
When the house doors did not have to be locked before bedtime
When quality was more important then quantity
When Character and integrity mattered
